Even though we have been around since 1707, we are a "doing" and "growing" church symbolized by our clearing and planting a
​new community garden for North Truro last summer . A few plots are still available for this year's planting!

Christian Union Church in North Truro, Massachusetts is happy to be old Cape Cod's "home away from home" faith community for so many who enjoy the pleasures of the Outer Cape's summers of sea, sun and sand, but we want you to know that it is also the year 'round home to a small interdenominational membership of free thinking, committed, and inclusive seekers and believers who want to experience and worship God; learn about and follow Jesus whom we call Christ; and in so doing, serve the needs of our community and the Outer Cape with compassion and commitment. 

 WORSHIP

• Our main worship service is on Sundays at 10 am. Seekers and believers, all are welcome! 
• We celebrate open communion (stay in your pew or come forward and kneel, as you like) on the first Sunday of the month. ​

FAITH FORMATION FOR ALL AGES

• Faith formation programming for children and youth: Our congregation is undergoing a period of study and reflection about its faith formation programming for children and youth. Meanwhile, we encourage children and youth to remain in worship with their parents or guardians and participate, as they are able, in intergenerational worship and age appropriate scripture related learning activities.

• We offer various mid-week Bible Study and spiritual formation programs for adults throughout the year.
•  Our ongoing weekly Adult Bible Study Program will meet at 1 pm on Wednesdays

for the month of August. 


COMMUNITY SERVICE AND OUTREACH

Our congregation is supporting the recently formed Refugee Support Team of Nauset Interfaith Association (NIA) which has initiated a partnership with the refugee resettlement operation closest to us in Massachusetts. This past fall we sent $500 (via NIA) to Concordia Lutheran Church in Worcester which is resettling almost 50 refugees this month under the auspices of Acentria Care Alliance. We support a wide variety of local social service agencies as well as a number of international disaster relief services, and two medical missionaries in Kenya.
